The dulcimer Jack made for me was very nicely crafted, and a really great deal for the price. He checked with me to make sure of what wood, sound-hole design, and finish I wanted, before building my dulcimer. And Jack was very responsive to all of my questions along the way. Everything that was listed as being included in the Accessory Kit was delivered. The case is nicer than I expected; well-made, and attractive. Same can be said for the capo, which works well. I haven't looked over the included "First Lessons Dulcimer" book with CD set yet, but I know Mel Bay is a respected author and instructor, so I will get to it. For now, I am too busy playing my dulcimer. I recommend Jack's dulcimers, and would buy from him again.

I recently received my dulcimer that Jack made for me. I love it! It has a beautiful sound. Jack is great to work with. He helped me choose the type of wood and provided web sites and information that has allowed a beginning dulcimer player the opportunity to truly appreciate the beauty of his workmanship.
